Al-Futtaim appoints AI chief

Moza Omar Al Futtaim says that she will ensure that AI becomes a cornerstone of the company's growth strategy

Al-Futtaim Group has appointed Moza Omar Al Futtaim as its Chief AI Officer. This newly created position underscores the Group’s commitment to integrating AI across its extensive operations spanning Automotive, Financial Services, Retail, Real Estate, Health, and its rewards programme “Blue.”

Moza Omar Al Futtaim will be at the forefront of the Group’s ambitious initiative to leverage AI in enhancing operational efficiency, customer experiences, and unlocking new investment opportunities. Her leadership is expected to fast-track the adoption of AI-driven solutions across the Group’s diverse divisions, reinforcing Al-Futtaim Group’s competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market landscape.

Expressing enthusiasm about her appointment, Moza Al Futtaim remarked, “I am excited to lead Al-Futtaim Group’s AI journey, recognising the critical role AI plays in transforming business operations and elevating customer experiences. Studies suggest that over 70% of organisations employing AI technologies have witnessed a notable competitive boost, with AI potentially enhancing productivity by up to 40%.

In line with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which aims to position the UAE as a global AI leader by enhancing economic growth, sustainability, and quality of life, Al-Futtaim Group’s initiative represents a significant step towards realizing these national objectives.
