Nissan has expanded its global SUV portfolio with the introduction of the all-new Tekton, a model that recently made its world premiere in Mumbai. The launch forms part of the manufacturer’s wider strategy to strengthen its presence in one of the automotive industry’s fastest-growing segments by offering customers a broader range of SUV options.
Commenting on the new vehicle, Bachir Gemayel, Sales & Marketing Director at Al Masaood Automobiles, the authorised distributor for Nissan and INFINITI in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, said the Tekton reinforces Nissan’s focus on combining technology, design and everyday practicality.

The Tekton is powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, with Nissan positioning the model as a balance of performance, efficiency and everyday driving comfort.
Gemayel added that Al Masaood Automobiles is preparing to introduce the new SUV to customers across its network in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
