Al-Futtaim Motors opens Toyota Material Handling 3S centre in UAE

Al-Futtaim Motors has opened its first standalone Toyota Material Handling 3S facility in Dubai’s Umm Ramool area.

The exclusive distributor of Toyota Material Handling in the UAE said in a statement that the 3S, which stands for sales, service and spare parts, is a fully-integrated ASEC certified facility that offers customers the convenience of a dedicated service area that includes 18 simultaneous working bays.

Additionally, an automated robotic vehicle that follows markers or wires on the floor while using lasers for navigation, is utilised in the facility in order to increase uptime between the parts counter and service technicians, ensuring faster service, efficiency and productivity, the statement added.

Ramez Hamdan, general manager of Toyota Material Handling at Al-Futtaim Motors, said: “The opening of our first standalone Toyota Material Handling facility in Dubai marks a huge milestone for us. We pride ourselves on delivering not just reliable equipment of excellent quality, as well as premium after sales services, but also non-stop solution services where customers could get full warehousing, logistics and transportation consultancy, all in one place.”

The new facility will be open five days a week, from 8am to 5pm, Al-Futtaim Motors said.
