Fleets buying pre-owned Mercedes-Benz cars will soon be able to get the full parts history of the vehicles they are purchasing after AutoData Middle East signed a partnership agreement with Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services GmbH which secures direct OEM data integration into its Vehicle Report platform.
The collaboration resolves long-standing challenges in decoding vehicles in the UAE, where extensive customisation and limited-production orders have traditionally fallen outside global VIN standards.
By delivering data directly from Mercedes-Benz’s global systems, AutoData is able to provide unmatched precision in identifying trim levels, configurations, and equipment – ensuring accuracy for dealers, insurers, platforms, and consumers, claims the firm.
“This is a game-changer for automotive data in the Middle East,” said Sebastian Fuchs, Managing Director of AutoData Middle East. “By partnering directly with Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services GmbH, we remove guesswork and bring factory-level precision to dealers, insurers, and platforms. Vehicle Report is rapidly becoming an indispensable tool for anyone buying or selling a car, empowering users with the reliable insights they need to make smarter, safer decisions. This is what the future of data transparency looks like, and we’re proud to lead it.”
The integration will be rolled out across AutoData’s full product suite, including Vehicle Report and DealRevs. Key upgrades include: Precise Model Year Identification for non-standard VINs; Factory-Level Trim & Configuration Details across all vehicles; and Comprehensive Equipment & Specification Data delivered in real time.
Backed by more than 12 years of regional expertise, AutoData already works with over 40 major entities and has helped more than 42,000 users make safer car-buying decisions. Daily usage of Vehicle Report has tripled, with 84% of buyers reporting no post-purchase issues – underlining the importance of reliable data in building confidence as digital platforms transform the automotive marketplace.
