Isuzu Oman has marked a major milestone in its long-standing relationship with Budget Rent a Car by handing over 125 vehicles to the rental operator as part of a fleet expansion programme.
The delivery, which took place during a ceremony at the Isuzu showroom in Wattayah, included a mix of Isuzu D-MAX pick-ups and MU-X SUVs. The latest addition strengthens a partnership between the two organisations that has spanned 15 years.
Senior representatives from both companies attended the event, including Benty Jose, General Manager of Budget Rent a Car, and Fahad Ahmed Al Balushi, Fleet Manager. They were joined by Isuzu Oman’s Head of Sales and Marketing, alongside senior managers and staff.
The fleet expansion reflects Budget Rent a Car’s continued investment in Isuzu vehicles, particularly the D-MAX, which is widely used in rental and commercial applications. The company currently operates a fleet of 280 vehicles and has relied on Isuzu products throughout its operations across Oman.
Speaking at the handover, Jose said: “Our 15-year association with Isuzu is a testament to the brand’s quality, reliability and professional support. The Isuzu D-MAX continues to deliver outstanding performance and durability across our rental operations. The consistency in vehicle performance and the strong aftersales backing give us the confidence to expand our fleet with Isuzu, and we look forward to continuing this long-term partnership.”
The Head of Sales and Marketing at Isuzu Oman said: “We are proud to celebrate 15 years of collaboration with Budget Rent a Car. The handover of 125 Isuzu D-MAX units underscores the trust and confidence they place in our vehicles and our service network. At Isuzu, our commitment extends beyond supplying high-quality vehicles; we remain dedicated to delivering excellent aftersales service and comprehensive support across Oman. It is particularly rewarding to see valued customers return to further strengthen their fleets with Isuzu vehicles, reflecting the reliability of our products and the strength of our partnership.”
Isuzu said the D-MAX remains one of its most popular fleet models, valued for its durability, fuel efficiency and low total cost of ownership. The manufacturer continues to support fleet operators across Oman with vehicles designed for demanding commercial environments.
The latest handover further strengthens the relationship between the two companies and highlights the ongoing demand for dependable fleet vehicles within Oman’s rental and commercial transport sectors.
