Chery UAE expands retail network with Ras Al Khaimah showroom

New facility extends the brand's UAE footprint and will showcase the recently launched HIMAVA pick-up alongside its passenger vehicle range

Chinese automaker Chery has opened a new showroom in Ras Al Khaimah as part of the continued expansion of its retail network across the UAE.

Chery UAE, which is represented by AWR Automotive in the country, opened the new facility on Al Bahar Street in the northern emirate’s Dahan, and said that the move adds to the brand’s existing presence in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, with a further showroom planned in Fujairah.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mohamed Ali Abdulla Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with government officials, Chery UAE executives and other invited guests.

The showroom has been designed to offer vehicle sales and aftersales services, while providing customers with access to Chery’s latest model range. It will also serve as the launch venue in Ras Al Khaimah for the new HIMAVA pick-up, which is priced from Dh59,900 for the four-wheel drive variant, excluding VAT.

The expansion comes as Chery continues to strengthen its presence in the UAE market through a broader retail and service network, said Zaher Sabbagh, Director of Chery UAE.

“Our expansion into Ras Al Khaimah is a natural next step in our journey to bringing Chery closer to customers across the UAE. It also embodies our firm commitment to supporting the promising Ras Al Khaimah economy which has many mega projects in the pipeline. Accordingly, our network’s ongoing expansion reflects both the increasing demand for the brand and our long-term confidence in the UAE market. Backed by AWR Automotive’s legacy, we will continue investing in accessible, customer-focused experiences across every emirate, ensuring that more customers can engage with Chery wherever they are,” Sabbagh said.

Alongside expanding its physical network, Chery said it plans to introduce its Super Intelligent Parking technology to the UAE. The system is expected to include functions such as autonomous parking, automated parking space detection and remote vehicle summoning.

The company also highlighted ongoing work through its AiMOGA Robotics business, which is developing humanoid and quadruped robots for applications including customer service, education, industrial operations and home assistance.

The Ras Al Khaimah showroom is the latest step in Chery’s expansion strategy in the UAE as the manufacturer continues to grow its retail footprint and introduce new technologies to the market.
