INDU Kishore Logistics breaks ground on state-of-the-art logistics facility

Dubai South hub is designed to efficiently handle spare parts of varying sizes and utilise data-driven automation to streamline ops

Dubai South, the UAE’s largest single-urban master development focused on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has partnered with INDU Kishore Logistics to break ground on a cutting-edge logistics facility in Dubai South’s Logistics District. This facility marks a crucial step in INDU Kishore Logistics’ expansion strategy as it positions itself as a multi-industry logistics leader.

The groundbreaking event was attended by key figures, including AbdulBasit AlMarzouqi, Deputy CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, and Kishore Lakhani, Chairman of INDU Group, along with senior executives from both organizations.

Covering approximately 23,000 square meters with a capacity for 75,000 pallets, the facility is set for completion by Q3 2025. Designed to efficiently handle spare parts of varying sizes, it will utilise data-driven automation to streamline operations, enabling swift turnaround times and an optimized flow of shipments.

Commenting on the project, Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, remarked: “We are pleased to witness the groundbreaking of INDU Kishore Logistics’ new facility, which adds value to the logistics sector and our portfolio of leading logistics companies. Dubai South is committed to supporting Dubai’s vision of becoming a global logistics hub, and we fully support INDU Kishore Logistics in its expansion endeavors.”

Kush Lakhani, Managing Partner at INDU Kishore Logistics, added, “At INDU, we have long embraced Dubai’s visionary approach of ‘Build It and They Will Come.’ This strategic investment responds to the growing demand in the automotive and aerospace sectors. With the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport, we believe this is the ideal time, and we’re grateful for Dubai South’s support in realizing this project.”

Dubai South’s Logistics District offers advanced infrastructure, access to Jebel Ali Port via a bonded logistics corridor, and direct connectivity to Al Maktoum International Airport, EZDubai, and the Contract Logistics Zone, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a premier global logistics hub.
