Coronavirus: ENOC Link dedicates fuelling vehicles to support National Disinfection Programme

ENOC Link trucks located in designated locations which will be determined by Dubai Municipality's daily plans for the disinfection campaign

ENOC Link has extended its support to Dubai Municipality’s national disinfection drive to contain the COVID-19 pandemic by dedicating mobile fuelling trucks.

ENOC Link will provide free petrol and diesel fuel to all vehicles and equipment used in the disinfection campaign in Dubai. Dedicated fuelling trucks with a capacity of 5,000 litre and 2,600 litre will carry Special 95 petrol, saving the disinfection fleet travel time to refuel. This is expected to increase the campaign’s efficiency for timely disinfection and sterilisation measures while reducing the disinfection fleet’s travel time to fuel.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, group CEO of ENOC, said: “ENOC has always been a keen contributor to the national agenda. We are committed to utilising our expertise and technology to support our Government’s heroic efforts in fighting Covid-19 outbreak.”

He stated that the Government’s mandate to execute a nationwide disinfection drive is an important step to keep communities safe. He added that they are proud to lend their support to ensure that the fleet has uninterrupted access to fuel, irrespective of location.

ENOC Link trucks will be located in designated locations which will be determined by Dubai Municipality’s daily plans for the disinfection campaign, the company added.

Meanwhile, Dawood Al Hajeri, director general at Dubai Municipality, said: “Today we see companies, organisations and members of the community come together to support the government in its efforts to combat the COVID-19 outbreak.”

“We recognise the value of these initiatives and how they will help us in fighting this global pandemic. Together we will work to turn ideas into tangible realities, all in the hopes of achieving one goal,” he concluded.
