The new offering provides up-to-date insights on the latest trends and developments in the UAE’s car market. A first of a kind for the region (according to the firm), the intelligence proposition enables users to access data on metric including new car sales, second-hand car sales, and commercial vehicle sales – by all kinds of cross-sections such as OEM, car model and automotive segment.

Vishal Pandey, director, Glasgow Research & Consulting said the launch is motivated by a need and desire to provide regional market intelligence, thought leadership and insights on the emerging and fast transforming mobility sector in the Middle East and Africa region.

“We help clients identify growth opportunities in areas of mobility solutions,” he added.

Pandey further explained that data will be sourced from Auto Associations in the UAE and bolstered by interviews with dealers and service managers within the sector. As part of the new service it will be the UAE Vehicle Sales Database & Analysis report featuring a monthly, quarterly and annual subscription-based benchmarking of New Car Sales (including Luxury Cars), Used Car Sales and Commercial Vehicle Sales.

Listings will be made by OEM, models and variants available in the UAE providing users with much-needed intelligence and transparency for the auto-trade in the market.
