LIQUI MOLY achieves record Sales of €1 Billion in 2024

LIQUI MOLY’s achievements were supported by extensive investments to expand capacity at its production sites in Ulm and Saarlouis

LIQUI MOLY, the German automotive chemicals expert, closed the 2024 financial year with record sales of €1.03 billion, marking a 12.1% increase compared to the previous year. The company also reached new production highs in oil, additives, and containers while rewarding its workforce with bonuses of up to €7,000.

The company’s impressive performance in 2024 was marked by the production of 111,000 metric tons of oil, 24 million cans of additives, and 36 million oil containers. These figures underscore the success of LIQUI MOLY’s global operations, even in the face of supply chain challenges and rising demand.

“At the beginning of 2024, we faced supply bottlenecks and high demand,” said Dr. Uli Weller, Commercial Director of LIQUI MOLY. “Thanks to our solution-oriented and diligent co-entrepreneurs, things went very well, and that all over the world.”

Achieving the €1 billion turnover mark is a significant milestone for LIQUI MOLY. Germany remains the company’s strongest market, followed by the United States.

“For LIQUI MOLY, the billion is a ‘magical’ performance mark,” said Salvatore Coniglio, a member of the management board since September 2024. “This extraordinary success is thanks to our nearly 1,200 employees around the world. Together with the WÜRTH Group, we decided to grant success bonuses of up to €7,000 to our workforce. Everyone truly deserves it.”

LIQUI MOLY’s achievements were supported by extensive investments to expand capacity at its production sites in Ulm and Saarlouis. These developments were pivotal in enabling the company to meet growing global demand and maintain its status as a reliable employer, now with a record workforce of 1,200 employees.

“We have made extensive investments to expand capacity at our two sites in Ulm and Saarlouis,” noted Managing Director Günter Hiermaier. “This has been worthwhile for everyone, as can be seen in our record headcount. We are happy and very grateful that we are still on the right track and that we are established as a very good and reliable employer.”

With its strong performance in 2024, LIQUI MOLY sees the €1 billion milestone as both a celebration and a stepping stone for future growth. As a globally active full-range supplier of automotive chemicals, the company is committed to expanding its international footprint and continuing its success.

“This billion-euro turnover mark is an important strategic milestone for LIQUI MOLY and at the same time a great incentive,” Hiermaier concluded.
