Toyota’s material handling division recognises Al-Futtaim Motors with awards

Toyota Material Handling International (TMHI) has recognised Dubai-based Al-Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributor of its equipment in the UAE, with two awards at this year’s TMHI Distributor Conference in Japan.

According to a press announcement by Al-Futtaim Motors, TMHI presented it the ‘Service Award’ and ‘Vision 2020 Award’, both of which recognise Al-Futtaim Motors’ effective implementation of the Toyota Customer Support and Trust Program, as well as the successful implementation and management of all sales activities via TMHI’s T-basis CRM application, which allows all sales-related activity to be seen by the manufacturer, distributor and customers simultaneously.

“The implementation of a unique T-basis CRM system across the business has allowed all of the sales team, CRM department, as well as the manufacturer, better visibility into customer requirements, while providing better insights into future developments that enable Al-Futtaim Motors to serve its TMHI equipment customers more quickly and efficiently than ever before,” said Vladimir Knezevic, managing director for commercial vehicles at Al-Futtaim Motors.

The recognition from TMHI is a testament to the company’s efforts in competing against much bigger markets and distributors globally, being able to achieve effective management of sales activities while keeping customer relationship management a key focus of the business, he added.

“TMHI places great emphasis on ‘Challenge, Leadership and Connecting the Dots’, which Al-Futtaim Motors has embraced and implemented in its new Toyota Material Handling 3S facility in Um Ramool, Dubai,” Knezevic said.
