OMODA & JAECOO has previewed a new generation of artificial intelligence-powered vehicle technologies destined for the Middle East, with the all-new OMODA 4 scheduled to arrive in the UAE later this year.
The technology was showcased during the company’s OMODA SUPER AI NIGHT event in Jakarta, Indonesia, which brought together government officials, dealers, media representatives and industry stakeholders from Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The event highlighted the brand’s latest developments in intelligent mobility, combining advanced AI systems with electrified powertrains.
A key highlight was the Southeast Asian debut of the OMODA 4, a compact SUV aimed at younger, technology-focused buyers. The model is expected to join the brand’s UAE line-up before the end of the year, further expanding OMODA & JAECOO’s presence in one of its fastest-growing regional markets.
The company also introduced its new AI Smart Cockpit, developed using ByteDance’s Seed large language model (LLM). Rather than relying solely on traditional voice commands, the system is designed to interpret driver intent, learn user preferences and adapt to individual habits over time through over-the-air software updates.
The AI-powered cockpit integrates navigation, entertainment, productivity and lifestyle functions through multiple intelligent agents working together, creating a more personalised in-car experience.
Another technology demonstrated at the event was Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP), the brand’s Level 2 assisted parking system. Designed to simplify everyday parking, the technology can help identify suitable parking spaces, manoeuvre the vehicle into bays, avoid obstacles and support remote parking under driver supervision.
The system could prove particularly useful for motorists navigating busy shopping centres, residential developments and commercial districts across the UAE, where parking convenience remains an important consideration.
The Jakarta showcase also highlighted OMODA & JAECOO’s broader intelligent mobility ecosystem, including AiMOGA, the company’s robotics initiative that applies AI technologies to human-machine interaction beyond the vehicle itself.
The latest technologies build on the brand’s expanding footprint in the UAE, where it has continued to grow its retail network and introduce new SUV models to the market.
